Acceptable Use Policy

ThumbFuel generates marketing images (YouTube thumbnails) with AI. This policy defines what the service may and may not be used for. It is part of our Terms of Service.
The one rule that matters most
Only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have the documented permission to use. ThumbFuel builds thumbnails around the face in your upload — that face must be yours (or someone who agreed to it). This is a consent-based, self-likeness tool. It is not a face-swap tool and may not be used as one.
Prohibited content
You may not use ThumbFuel to create or attempt to create:
- Images depicting real people other than yourself (or consenting subjects) — no impersonation, no celebrity or public-figure likenesses, no "deepfake" content of any kind
- Sexual, suggestive, or explicit content; content sexualizing minors (reported to authorities and permanently banned)
- Violent, gory, hateful, harassing, or discriminatory imagery
- Misleading news, fraudulent claims, scams, or fake endorsements (e.g., fake "as seen on" badges, fabricated quotes)
- Content that infringes copyrights or trademarks you don't own the rights to use
- Anything illegal in your jurisdiction or in the United States
Prohibited uses of the service
- Automated/bulk access, scraping, or reselling generation capacity
- Sharing one account between multiple people to bypass credit pricing
- Uploading images of third parties obtained without consent (social media photos, stolen content)
Automated screening
Requests are screened by an automated moderation system before generation. Content that violates this policy is blocked. Screening errors can happen — if your legitimate request was blocked, contact us and we'll review it.
Enforcement
Violations may result in blocked requests, credit forfeiture, and account termination without refund. Serious violations (involving minors, impersonation, or illegal content) are reported to the relevant platforms and authorities.
Reporting abuse
If someone uses ThumbFuel to depict you without your consent, email support@thumbfuel.com with the details — we act on valid reports within 3 business days.
